License Activation Guide
Detailed steps for Product Key entry, phone IID/CID activation, and joining Microsoft 365 cloud family.
Step-by-step instructions
- Enter Product Key:
- Open Microsoft Word or Excel, navigate to File > Account > Change Product Key, paste your delivered license key into the field, and click Activate.
- Online Activation:
- Select "I want to activate the software over the Internet". Microsoft activation servers will verify and activate your genuine license immediately.
- Phone Activation (If prompted by Office):
- If Office prompts "I want to activate the software by telephone", select this option to view the 63-digit Installation ID (9 groups of 7 numbers). Paste these digits into our Order Support portal to receive your Confirmation ID (CID) automatically within 30 seconds.
Need help obtaining Confirmation ID (CID)?
If you purchased a Phone Activation (IID/CID) package, simply enter the Installation ID from your screen into your private order lookup page. Our automated system will issue the Microsoft CID immediately.
